Thank-you!
Thursday, March 27th, 2008We just want to say a quick thank-you to everyone that showed up last night for Edmonton’s very first DemoCamp. Almost 70 people attended, well beyond our initial estimates of 50 or less. As well, many people came out afterwards for drinks at The Windsor. One of the main goals of DemoCamp is to build connections in the Edmonton community, and we’re sure many new connections were made last night.
We’d also like to thank all the speakers that came out. You all did a great job, and we look forward to seeing you again! Here they are again in the order they presented:
| Name | website | |
| Greg Campbell of Spieker Point Inc. | www.spiekerpoint.com | |
| Daniel Boulet of Loa Corporation | www.loapowertools.com | |
| Dave Bodnarchuk of event IQ Inc. | www.inviteright.com | |
| Bob Hesketh of Chinook Multimedia Inc. | www.chinookmultimedia.com | |
| Peter Urban of Smibs Inc. | www.smibs.com | |
| David Cree of FunderFish | www.funderfish.com |
There’s already a great recap of the nights events, as well as content on Flickr and Twitter.
Over the next few weeks we’re going to be collecting feedback and going over this DemoCamp to see what we can do better next time. If you want to keep up on what’s going on we encourage you to join our mailing list, follow our RSS feed, or join the BarCampEdmonton Facebook group.
