DemoCamp Edmonton 4
October 30th, 2008 by CamThe 4th installment of DemoCamp Edmonton continued on last night at the U of A. Thanks again to everyone who came out and made it a great night. Extra thanks as well to Smibs for sponsoring the evening. This was by far our biggest DemoCamp to date with ~ 150 coming out. We had 6 great demos again: Odil, Edistorm, ElectionBuddy, TheHistoryBooks, PureInbox, and Grant Skinner.
As usual Mack has a great recap of the evening (cross posted on Techvibes) that you can check out. If you made a blog post about DemoCamp please add your link to the comments below.

Hi,
I was wondering if you would be interested for me to do a free presentation about iPhone Software Development. I’m located in Charlotte, NC, USA but I will be in Edmonton in December and January to give several presentations. I myself am a seasoned Microsoft .Net Architect and in the business for about 18 years now.
To be honest, the reason for giving these free iPhone Software Development presentations is to see if there is enough interest for an iPhone Bootcamp in Edmonton. These potential bootcamps could be 1-day classes to up to 5-day classes. The iPhone / iPod touch is an extremely hot market and one of my points in the presentation will be some of the obstacles I had coming from a PC and .Net background to the Apple platform.
In any case, I will be in Edmonton and please let me know if you are interested in a presentation. Here is my contact information:

Hi Cam, I was just wondering if there have been any rumblings about the next BarCamp. Any idea on when the next one might be held? I really enjoyed the last one.
I think the next BarCamp could be really interesting with all the developments in Edmonton, Alberta and the rest of the world since the last camp.
